Audi stunned the automotive field with the launch of the original R8 back in 2007, with iconic styling and impressive performance from Audi’s mid-engine supercar. The new version launched in 2015, keeps the overall familiar shape, but the front and rear ends now show off an aggressive and angular form, giving no illusions to this V10 Plus’s pedigree.

Finished in eye-catching Dynamite Red, this R8 V10 Plus presents in incredible condition with minimal signs of use. Paintwork retains a deep, consistent shine and has recently benefitted from a comprehensive professional detail. Carbon Fibre accents throughout the car’s exterior all present free from any scuffs or marks, and contrast perfectly against the bright paintwork.


Totally redesigned and modernised, the R8 V10’s interior is perhaps the best and most useable supercar cabin of all. It’s spacious and yet refined, whilst the organisation and layout of the controls is superb, with Audi’s virtual display being the benchmark digital dash for legibility and usability.

 The interior of this example remains in virtually immaculate condition thanks to its low mileage and careful ownership. The vulnerable bolsters show minimal signs of wear with no tearing or scuffs to the leather. All switchgear present and perform without fault.

This V10+ sits at the top of a two-model line-up, propped up by the V10. Power starts at 533bhp and rises to 602bhp, 62mph flashes by in just 3.2 seconds – genuine supercar territory. Both versions deliver peak power at 8250rpm, which is pretty wild for such a big ten-cylinder unit.

Peak torque is 413lb ft in the V10+. Drive goes to all four wheels via a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox, which has been tweaked to deliver quicker gearshifts. The clever four-wheel drive system can divert 100 per cent of torque to either axle, while a limited-slip differential further apportions drive between the rear wheels.

Audi’s screaming mid-engined V10 represents one of the last bastions of natural aspiration, when all others are downsizing and turbocharging. Being such a clean and low mileage example, surely this R8 now represents a fantastic opportunity to obtain one of the last, truly naturally aspirated V10 sports cars?
