The bodywork presents extremely well for a car of this era, with no visible signs of corrosion.
Flush door handles, high level third brake light, steeply raked green tinted windscreen. The open “sharks mouth” appearance of the front, with chrome cross bar is reminiscent of the earlier Jaguar E-Types. Large chrome tail pipes from the up-rated XKR exhaust. The famous Jaguar oval adorns both bonnet and boot.


Oatmeal Classic Leather Package, all in a tremendous condition, with no cracks or scratches, even to the vulnerable drivers seat bolster. Carpets have been further protected by woollen over-mats, so remain pristine. The electric roof is well insulated and the headling is first class. The Burl Walnut dashboard in this particular XK has a wonderful natural pattern, no cracks or even faded varnish. All instruments, switches and electrical components efficiently operate as intended. Hazard kit and umbrella can be found in the boot.




Pirelli P-Zeroes all round, with ample tread and even wear patterns.
255/ZR 4518 on the rear, with 245/ZR 45 18 at the front. Seven spoke alloys are generally in a good overall condition with Jaguar emblem centre caps.

Enjoying an enviable history, carried out by Jaguar Main Dealers, while in the care of only three owners from new.

Introduced in 1996 at the Geneva Motor Show, designed by Geoff Lawson, the XK8 was an immediate success. With classic configuration of front engine, rear wheel drive. The all new aluminium 4.0 ltr 90 degree, 32 valve Jaguar AJ-V8 shared it’s platform with the Aston Martin DB7. Producing in the region of 290 bhp. Electronic fuel injection. A five speed transmission was provided by the ZF-5HP 24, having adaptive cruise control, anti-lock brakes (ABS), fully independent twin wishbone, coil springs, with telescopic dampers sports tuned front suspension. 305mm vented discs all rond. 0-60 mph is effortlessly achieved in around 6.7 secs.
This examples starts without any effort, produces a glorious, subtle exhaust note, and performs, steers, stops and glides as gracefully as you could wish for.
