Gleaming Rosso York bodywork has just benefitted from a full machine polish and top coat finish. Now shines with a deep lustre, highlighted by the highly decorative HF appropriate body stripe and decals. All appears in a sound condition with no stone chips or gravel rash evident.
As with all Lancias, it’s the delicate and subtle details that set them apart from other manufactures. The twin headlights, chrome grill with central Lancia emblem, single chrome door mounted drivers mirror, chrome bonnet vent, slim wing mounted side repeaters and chrome tail pipe. With front and rear bumpers removed, and the obvious nod to Lancia’s heyday of World Rallying in the 60’s /70’s, this example makes an elegant and engaging statement, bound to attract attention an provoke conversation where and when ever it is seen.

A wonderful, light and airy space, lifted by the minor but noticeable upgrades applied to the S3. While similar to the preceding model, the addition of headrests now incorporated into the new seat design, white faced instrument dials and up-dated trim colours. The wooden dashboard has a simple, but functional, layout, with large speedometer and rev-counter below the fuel, water and oil temperature gauges.
The black vinyl dashboard covering and black sports steering wheel are perfectly off-set by the use of light vinyl seat coverings, door cards and perforated headlining, all in a very good condition with no splits, tears of sagging.
Floor covering remain intact, clean and unworn.
(It should be noted that, although a heater is fitted, this has never been known to operate correctly).

All four perforated pressed steel 14”inch wheels appear in a good condition, and display the correct Lancia logo centre caps, and are shod with165/80/14 tyres, with plenty of usable tread.

First registered in May 1974, this Fulvia was imported directly to the the owners in 2018, all taxes and duty paid. Issued with a current V5 on 25/09/2018.
Unfortunately we do not hold a great deal of documentation of the cars history. However, upon inspection, and following a 40 mile recent drive, it is clear to see this lovely Lancia has been cared for as it should be.

The Fulvia S3 is an all steel, 2 + 2 Coupe, manufactured from 1974 – 1976.
Powered by a normally aspirated, narrow angle, V4 DOHC, 1298cc engine, developing around 90 hp @ 6000 rpm.
This allows for a single cylinder head cover across all cylinders, with one cam each for intake and exhaust valves, two valves per cylinder.
Mounted well forward in the engine bay, and almost uniquely, canted over at a 45 degree angle. Drive it sent via the front wheels only.
The S3 enjoyed various up-grates including, revised suspension, alternator, wider tyres, plus the addition of emission control on the Solex twin-carburettor set up.
Larger Girling callipers and pads replaced the earlier Dunlop system, further improving braking, with 260 mm discs at the front, and 277 mm at the rear wheels.
Weighing in approx, at a svelte 1000 kgs, performance was very respectable at the time, with 0 – 62 mph dispatched in approx 11.9 secs, and a top speed of approx 109 mph.
Transmission is a “Dog-leg” 5 speed manual, which, in conjunction with a smooth, light clutch, and perky rev-loving engine, delivers a very engaging and enjoyable experience.
This HF Evocation has been inspired by the successful Works Rally Spec HF’s of the late 60’s and early 70’s. The most powerful of which was the 1584 cc, producing 132 hp, depending on tune, used by Lancias works rally team until 1974. The original cars would have distinctive yellow and blue striped cam covers.
