For a car that has provided over 30 years of motoring pleasure, this 930 happily shows very little signs of ageing. Any issues have been addressed during a meticulous, on-going maintenance schedule to preserve this special Carrera in a remarkable condition.

Attention has been paid to the more obvious areas of corrosion, that this generation can be prone to, with a regime of preventative care including wax oil and under-sealing, where necessary. While the excellent condition of the bodywork, prior to this can be easily seen.


Having been kept in a heated garage, the interior is as you would expect, in very good condition. With no rips tears or heavy creases to be found, it maintains a great shine. With subtle areas of patina on the bolster. The black piping on black leather is a fantastic combo and matches perfectly with the impeccable paint!


All Fuchs alloy wheels in near perfect condition, shod with appropriately rated Continental Sport tyres with a minimum of 5mm tread, so plenty of life and miles left to enjoy.


Last owner, Senior Master Technician at AMG, HPP, (High Performance Powertrains Dept, producing F1 units at Brixworth) for over 6 years. A lifelong devotee of the marque, lavished care, knowledge and attention on the Carrera, maintained, cleaned regularly and resided in a heated garage. All previous MOT Certificates to verify mileage plus VOSA history print out to confirm recent details.

Service Record

23 stamps in original service record, plus brake fluid changes. Original Porsche invoices going back to very early days are all preserved in two large history files. Full and comprehensive details available upon request. 

New Clutch fitted by Porsche, top end re-build, brake replacement, gear box oil changed, battery fitted, gas struts replaced, ignition lead set, valve clearance set up, etc, etc. The list continues.


Air cooled, 911, 930 with G50, 5 speed box, a P.T.S. colour, planted in body hugging, LEATHER sports seats! What more can be said. 

Once you have mastered the gear box and clutch, find the perfect road, you have reached motoring Nirvana, about as cool as it gets, (under £100k anyway). Low road tax and insurance too!! 

Being the more desirable later model, benefits not only from the far superior G50 gearbox but also forged pistons with raised crowns increasing the compression ratio, newly designed inlet manifold and exhaust system, Bosch Motronic 2 DME ( Digital Motor Electronic System ) engine management to precisely control ignition and fuel, fuel injection upgraded to Bosch LE- Jetronic System to benefit from reduced consumption of around 10%. Hydraulic tensioners for the cam chains replaced the weak mechanical version.

In this form the engine now produced 231 bhp @ 5,900 rpm and around 209lb/ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm.

Improved cooling, a finned oil cooler was then fitted, hydraulic clutch, larger ventilated discs, were also wider to help disperse heat and aid stopping. Boge suspension dampers plus shorter throw gear stick, seats lowered by 20mm to improve driving position.
