The globally recognised, distinctive and iconic 911 profile, finished in Slate Blue Metallic, factory code X6, all surfaces retain a deep gloss and shine.

Having benefitted from consistently sustained care and attention over the years, the bodywork has been kept in very good order, with no unsightly scratches or dents worthy of note. There are however, one or two, very minor, stone-chips to the lower front to be aware of. These will be professionally addressed prior to sale.


The entire interior presents to a high standard, just a pleasing and acceptable level of patination. The front Sports Seats offer a high level of lateral support from the deep side bolsters, and remain in fine order, finished in blue leatherette with Porsche script inlay. The theme extends to door cards and dashboard, which thankfully has avoided any heat induced damage or cracks over the years. Rear seats has obviously seen little use, but fold flat to provide a large practical stowage area. The familiar five dial layout ahead of the driver conveys all necessary information, effectively and efficiently. Sunroof operates quietly and as intended, likewise door mirrors and electric heated windows. Original carpets have been protected by colour co-ordinated Porsche over-mats. Under the front bonnet, the original factory laser label is, reassuringly, clearly visible, the area carpeted and housing the Vredstein space-saver spare wheel/tyre, air compressor and hazard pack, containing Porsche cellophane gloves for emergency works.


Original factory fitted 16”inch Fuchs alloys, light-weight wheel nuts, aluminium billet centre caps with Porsche crest motif.

N-rated Continental Conti Sport on the front, Conti Premium Contact 2’s on the rear, which are virtually new 2021.

The 3.2 horizontally opposed flat six, starts willingly; producing the notorious air-cooled bark, then settling to a relatively smooth idle, for an early 911 anyway. Being a lightweight car of only approx. 1160 kgs, the modest power output of around 231bhp is still capable of achieving impressive performance figures, with 0 – 60 mph being quoted by Porsche at 5.9 secs and on to a top speed in region of 152 mph. Transmission is via the single plate dry disc clutch, 5 speed manual 915 gearbox, which has received a full rebuild at 95,984 miles in 2019 courtesy of Carrera Performance Porsche. Having received and benefitting from a consistent maintenance regime throughout, all consumables such as brakes, tyres etc, have been replace as required. Driving any 911 is always a pleasure, but the Air-Cooled 3.2 Coupe is an experience to savour.
