Presents extremely well, especially when considering the Porsche is approaching 32 years old. We have check all body panels, and it would appear, all as original. No doubt, in part, due to being twice treated with corrosion protection. Once back in 2000 and more recently, full under-body strip down and 3M Waxoil treatment professionally applied to floor pan, wheel arches, kidney bowls and water-trap areas. A sound investment.
In addition the Targa roof is perfect, having just been totally restored, to a very high standard. All associated door rubbers and seals were also included during the restoration. All three screen wiper arms look perfect, no unsightly chips or scratches to be found anywhere around the Porsche.

A highlight of this particular vehicle.
In the many years of handling and owning 911’s, we have never seen this desirable combination of Midnight Blue with Can Can Red inserts, setting this 930 apart from other, more mundane examples. Striking a wonderful contrast to the G.P. White exterior, especially with roof removed. The leather steering wheel has recently been treated to new sticking and therefore looks and feel 100% correct.
All seating remains in excellent order throughout, with the electrically operated adjustments operating as intended. Electric window switches and associated wiring have recently been replaced, with spares available in folder. Black carpets, both front and rear appear original and in good condition.
Just the correct amount of patination.
Likewise, the interior heating and ventilation system has been totally overhauled (twice in the cars history) and now runs perfectly at all settings.
WHEELS & TYRES
The instantly recognisable signature of any Air-Cooled 911, the Fuchs 16”inch, forged alloys.
Front 6″ with 205/55, rear 7″ with 225/50 tyres.
In glorious condition, antique chrome finish shines brightly and all wheels boast their original, and again, very rare, billet centre caps, with full coloured Stuttgart crests.
SERVICE HISTORY & PROVENANCE
One of the best stamped, service history books you could hope to find. Over 30 entries, many from Porsche Main Dealers, (the first seven from supplying dealer JCT600 Hull), the remainder, well recognised, respected Porsche Specialists.
91,291 – 22/03/2019 – Major service, inc: Air / Oil filters, oil change, spark plugs.
92,545 – 11/11/2019 – Brake Fluid Change, plus Full Engine Diagnostic Test
92,582 – 15/05/2020 – Oil Service
The last major service in 2019 included, adjust valve clearances, remove and install cam covers.
Cam feed lines left + right both replaced at 88,091 in 2018.

As seen by the service records above, this 911 Targa has always been subject to an extremely high level of care throughout its 32 years of motoring.
All consumables, such as brake pads disc and tyres have been replaced as required.
Original invoices, MOT certificates, full service book, all Handbooks and keys accompany the vehicle. Obviously fully Hpi clear with certificate.
It can be noted from the history file, that the 911 was company owned on several occasions, presumably by their Directors, and on at least one occasion by a lady driver, also passing from husband to wife we believe.
THE DRIVE & ENGINE
The best aspect of owning any Air Cooled 911 is….. the drive.
Not fast, by modern standards, but far more engaging, direct and enjoyable than the majority of current fare on offer.
While swift enough with 231 bhp on tap, it’s more about the total and complete experience, hard to explain to the un-initiated, but profoundly addictive, be warned.
From the moment you open the door, even the smell; you could only be in a 911. The flat six, horizontally opposed 3.2, barks into life, then settles. A slight whiff from the spent exhaust gases, first is then easily engaged, thanks to the superior 5 speed G50 gearbox.
Eagerly press on through all gears without any drama, the clutch, brakes and steering all combine to deliver one of the best drives in motoring, you can just relish the next series of bends.
This particular example performs admirably on the road and has been much admired by many experienced Porsche drivers and associates. Surely a reflection of the regular, on-going care received over the past 32 years. The Targa top is simply removed and can be stowed in front bonnet, (or behind the front seats if preferred).
This totally transforms the whole car, the only real way to truly enjoy your 911 Targa.
The recent comprehensive Engine Diagnostic Test results are available to view, and indicate an engine in a very respectable condition
This includes, leak-down and compression tests, plus bore-scope.
