The 981 iteration of the Porsche Cayman not only answered all the criticisms of the original car, but also moved the game forward in comparison to its rivals. Prettier, faster and more comfortable than before, the track focussed and limited production GT4 was an instant success when introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015. 

Porsche’s GT cars in previous years had been reserved for the 911 GT3 and GT2 variants, with the 981 being the first generation of Cayman to adopt the GT characteristics.

The Cayman GT4 owes a lot more than just its ethos to the bigger 911 GT3. The suspension setup uses many of the bespoke parts designed originally for the GT3, whilst the upgraded brakes were also derived from the Caymans older sibling. The engine is taken from the 911 Carrera S, making it the most powerful Cayman ever made.

This particular GT4 drives incredibly well with sharp, balanced handling and a positive power delivery. Having benefitted from such careful ownership and full Porsche service history, this car is ready to be used and enjoyed by its next custodian.
